Red vs. Blue

Play the Spartan Ops campaign and work your way through Chapter 5 of Episode 1. As you near the end, high on a bridge, you can stand on a railing and shoot down at a hidden object to earn an Achievement and hear a recording of the Red vs. Blue easter egg (see the video below for the exact location).

Conan and Andy as NPCs

Near the start of Mission 6, you can find NPC soldiers who were voiced by Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter as part of a promotion on "Conan." Head to the lower part of the hangar and you'll find the two soldiers standing in the corner. Wait for awhile and they'll start conversing, which is when you hear the special dialog (the video below shows it in action). There are three separate conversations that you can hear before things start repeating.

Microsoft reported today that their latest sci-fi shooter struck $220 million upon its very first day and it is on pace hitting $ 300 million in first-week global sales.

Microsoft states that Halo 4's debut stands out as the "biggest entertainment launch of the year"

Halo 4 blasted previous 2010′s Bungie Studios-developed Halo: Reach, that delivered $ 200 million upon its first day (in the US and Europe). In addition, Halo 4′s launch day sales tend to be much better than 2007′s Halo 3, which took in $ 170 million in 1 day (in the US alone). Overall combined Halo series life-to-date sales now stand at about $ 3. 38 billion, Microsoft stated.

Microsoft stated that, In netting $220 million in day-one sales, Halo 4 surpassed the first-day United States box office tallies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and The Avengers.

Microsoft also stated that Halo 4 also smashed the franchise record for the majority of players at launch. Within the game's first 5 days, over 4 million players spent time in the game, logging some 31. 4 million hours. This approach pushes the overall amount of gameplay hours across all Halo games to "well beyond" 5 billion.

Moreover, Microsoft's Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Web series has got driven 46 million total views to date, Microsoft said. According to the company, 39 million of these views originated via Machinima's YouTube channel alone. more.
